6th European DCL U21 Futsal 2023

The 6th European Deaf Champions League U-21 Futsal was be held in Charleroi (Belgium) on 14 to 16th December 2023.

Were 8 men teams in the DCL tournament with almost 136 players and officials. The men teams were invited by the DCL as champion from their National Federation as official teams and the other teams were invited to cover the competition´s system. The tournament had good development every day and we would like to thank to support of volunteers from deaf club Zebre Charleroi and Belgian Deaf Sports Committee (BDC).

The winner was A.S.D. P.S.P. F.R. Napoli from Italy, who have won against the spanish team C.D.S. Huelva with the result 6-4. It was a spectacular match between teams and at half time the result was 2-4.
The third place was E.S.S. Vitry from France.
The award for best player was the swedish player Amadeus Robert Lantz (A.S.D. P.S.P. F.R. Napoli) and the top scorer was Lorenzo del Greco from same team with 13 goals by 5 matches.

Special congratulations to B.S.C. Comet Berlin. because got the award for Fair Play they had only 3 yellow cards and few fouls in the 5 played matches.
Lorenzo Pillone from E.S.S. Vitry got the award “Best Goalkeeper”.

The award to best young player that have age under 16 years got the italian Gennaro Mazrocca, player from A.S.D. P.S.P. F.R. Napoli.

There are two candidates: Napoli (Italy) and Derby (England) to host the next edition that will be announced in the next months.
