DCL wishes to inform that two Turkish clubs (Elazig Bedeyide and Istanbul Sessizler) have not paid their outstanding fees and sanctions before 31 August 2019, so when the DCL Executive Board (EB) met for a meeting on Sunday 6th October 2019, the EB agreed the following action;

The decision is that;

All deaf clubs within Turkey can not participate in any DCL competitions and events (e.g. Meetings, etc.) now until the fees and sanctions are paid by both clubs.

Turkish deaf clubs and the Turkey Deaf Sports Federation can not apply to host any DCL competition or DCL event until the fees and sanctions are paid by both clubs.

This decision starts from 1 September 2019 and will be reviewed each year by the DCL’s EB.

The Turkey Deaf Sports Federation was informed of the situation, and both the clubs and the Turkey Deaf Sports Federation were warned of the possible action if the clubs did not pay the outstanding fees and sanctions.

The invitations for the 2019/2020 DCL Football (Gothenburg, Sweden) will be sent out soon, but DCL will not invite a Turkey Club until the sanctions are paid by both clubs.
