Following the initial decisions adopted by the ICSD and the EDSO Executive Committee, which envisaged the adoption of additional measures, DCL have today decided that all Russian and Belarusian club teams, shall be suspended from participation in DCL competitions until further notice.

The DCL took those decisions to safeguard the integrity of competitions and the safety of all participants, as well as to ensure fairness for deaf players, teams, clubs and officials from Ukraine who are currently unable to participate in DCL events.

Football and Futsal is fully united here and in full solidarity with all the people affected in Ukraine. DCL hope that the situation in Ukraine will improve significantly and rapidly so that football and futsal can again be a vector for unity and peace amongst people.
