The 8th European Deaf Champions League U-21 Futsal was held in Zaanstad (Netherlands) from 23rd to 25th October 2025.

A total of 10 men’s teams took part in the DCL tournament, with around 161 players and officials. The teams were invited by the DCL — either as national champions officially nominated by their federations or as additional teams to complete the competition system.

The tournament developed smoothly each day, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for the valuable support of the organisers, volunteers and interpreters from F.C. Zaanstad.

The winner was Fundación Cajasol – C.D.S. Huelva from Spain, who defeated the local team F.C. Zaanstad with a score of 6–2. It was a beautiful match between both teams, with the half-time score standing at 3–0.

The third place went to G.B.F. Munich from Germany.

The award for Best Player went to the Swedish player Elias Gustav Olof Rangsjö (Fundación Cajasol – C.D.S. Huelva), while the Top Scorer was Felipe Leandro Silva Domingos from F.C. Zaanstad, with 9 goals in 5 matches.

Special congratulations go to G.B.F. Munich, who received the Fair Play Award, having accumulated only four yellow cards and very few fouls throughout their five matches. Moreover, their player Sam Zech won both the Best Goalkeeper and Best Young Player awards.

Finally, the best Top Five Players of the tournament were the following:

  • Sam Zech (G.B.F. Munich)
  • Elias Gustav Olof Rangsjö (Fundación Cajasol – C.D.S. Huelva)
  • Tomas Agustin Dotto (Fundación Cajasol – C.D.S. Huelva)
  • Lorenz Optiz (B.S.C. Comet Berlin
  • Nicholas Cosenza (F.C. Zaanstad)
